1Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MenuWhisper, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2Operator and Contact Information
MenuWhisper is operated by the individual app seller listed for MenuWhisper on the App Store. You can contact the operator at christophe.ha1@gmail.com.
3Use of Service
MenuWhisper provides menu scanning and food-identification assistance. The app uses OCR and AI-powered analysis to identify dishes, provide descriptions, and flag possible allergens and dietary compatibility. If you capture a photo in-app and grant permission, the app may save that capture to your Photos library. Results are informational only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
4Allergen and Dietary Information Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: All allergen and dietary outputs are AI-generated suggestions, not medical advice. Ingredients can change and menu details can be incomplete. If you have allergies, intolerances, or medical dietary restrictions, verify ingredients directly with restaurant staff before consuming food.
5Accounts, Guest Access, and Usage Limits
You may use MenuWhisper as a guest with limited scans or create an account for extended access. Authenticated users are subject to daily scan limits and service rate limits. Limits and feature availability may change over time to protect reliability and fair use.
6Fair Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse the service, bypass limits, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer restricted parts of the app, or use MenuWhisper for unlawful activity.
7Third-Party Services
MenuWhisper depends on third-party providers for authentication, AI processing, observability, and infrastructure. Service interruptions or changes by those providers may affect availability or behavior.
8Intellectual Property
MenuWhisper and its original content, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit protected parts of the app except as allowed by law.
9Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MenuWhisper is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MenuWhisper is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including losses arising from reliance on analysis outputs, service interruptions, or inaccurate menu interpretation.
11Governing Law, Consumer Rights, and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country of residence of the app seller. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of habitual residence, including rights available under UK or French consumer law where applicable. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be brought before competent courts, subject to mandatory venue rights under applicable consumer law.
12Account Termination and Deletion
You may delete your account from app settings. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms.
13Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective and last-updated dates. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
